David Johnson

David Johnson is an accomplished toxicologist with extensive experience in mammalian toxicology and risk assessment. Currently serving as a Senior Mammalian Toxicologist at FMC Corporation since June 2021, David previously worked at Chevron from 2017 to 2020, providing toxicology support for the global lubricants business unit. From 2013 to 2017, David held the position of Senior Toxicologist/Risk Assessor at GHD, where responsibilities included conducting human health and ecological risk assessments. Prior to that, David was a Research Biologist and Team Lead at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center from 2007 to 2013, overseeing research projects and leading staff during transitional periods. David’s academic background includes a PhD in Toxicology from the University of Kansas Medical Center, an MS in Environmental Science from the University of North Texas, and a BS in Chemistry from Southwestern University.
