Douglas Austin

Douglas Austin has extensive experience in both cardiac monitoring and research within the field of chemistry. As a Cardiac Monitor Tech at Lankenau Hospital, HCA, and Kindred Healthcare from 2009 to 2014, Douglas monitored multiple cardiac patient windows, analyzing rhythms to assess rate, strength, and abnormalities. Transitioning into academia, Douglas served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Delaware State University from 2019 to 2024, leading green chemistry research projects and training students in water testing lab techniques. Additional experience includes an internship at FMC Corporation as a Formulation Pilot Intern. Douglas holds a PhD in Chemistry and a BS in Chemistry from Delaware State University, along with a high school diploma from Central High School.
