Pramod Thota

Pramod Thota is the current VP & President of FMC Asia Pacific at FMC. Pramod has over 15 years of experience in growth strategy, business transformations, and M&A.

Pramod Thota started their career as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech where they worked for two years before joining Groundwater and Environmental Services, Inc. as a Project Engineer/Manager. There, they led engineering and environmental compliance activities for energy, chemicals, and manufacturing companies. Pramod also developed a new consulting business line that used Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to assess and manage environmental contamination.

In 2007, Pramod Thota joined Booz & Company as a Senior Associate (Engagement Manager). There, they advised companies on growth strategy, business transformations, and M&A including a B2B growth strategy for a $2B global specialty chemicals company, growth plan for a $1.6B renewable energy company, and post-merger integration for a $14B merger creating the largest electric power company in the US. Pramod also led the creation of a new go-to-market business platform, spearheaded people initiatives for the Energy & Chemicals practice, and led campus recruiting efforts. In 2011, they were awarded the Booz & Co Leadership award by their peers.

Pramod Thota has an MBA in Strategy from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, a MS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
