Oluwaseun Afolabi has a diverse work experience in finance and advisory roles. Oluwaseun started their career as a Graduate Trainee at Stanbic IBTC in 2010. Oluwaseun then joined PwC and held various roles, including Senior Associate in Advisory - Deals and Associate in Transaction Services and Performance Improvement. In 2016, they joined PwC Nigeria as an Assistant Manager in Advisory - Deals. Oluwaseun later moved to Stanbic IBTC as part of their Corporate & Investment Banking team, specializing in Consumer Sector Coverage. In 2017, they joined FMDQ Group as an Associate Vice President in the Derivatives Market Group. Oluwaseun was subsequently promoted to Head of Market Development Group and currently holds the position of Vice President & Divisional Head of Market Architecture.

Oluwaseun Afolabi began their education at Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Abeokuta in 1996. It is not mentioned if they obtained a degree or the field of study during their time there. Following this, they attended the University of Lagos from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Botany/Plant Biology.
