Mike Hartley

Mike Hartley is an experienced HR professional with a robust background in managing HR functions and delivering strategic guidance across various organizations. Currently serving as People & Culture Information Systems Manager at FMG since January 2015, Mike has also held roles as People & Culture Business Partner and HR Consultant, providing best practice HR advice to enhance people, culture, and performance capabilities. Previously, Mike worked as an HR Advisor at the New Zealand Council for Educational Research, where responsibilities included managing HR projects and supporting the senior leadership team. Prior roles include HR Advisor at ServiceIQ during a significant merger, HR Consultant for diverse small to medium-sized businesses, and HR Advisor at the Hospitality Standards Institute, where important HR functions for 65 staff were managed. Mike's educational credentials include a People Analytics Certificate from AIHR, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration with Distinction from Massey University, and a Bachelor of Physical Education in Exercise Science from the University of Otago.
