Shane Meckler is currently serving as Legal Counsel at FMO, the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, since 2025. They previously held positions as a Foreign Service Attorney with USAID from 2024 to 2025 and as an Attorney-Advisor (International) at the U.S. Department of Commerce from 2021 to 2024. Prior to these roles, Shane was an Associate at Clifford Chance LLP from 2016 to 2021, and they began their career as a Community Health Volunteer with the Peace Corps from 2011 to 2013. Shane earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York University School of Law in 2016 after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 2011.
