Nathan Bailey is the current Managing Director at FMP Consulting. Prior to this, they were a Senior Research Scientist at VMASC from June 2004 to July 2005. Their previous position was Human Factors Scientist at Aptima, Inc. from August 2005 to April 2007. As a Human Factors Scientist, their primary job responsibilities included proposal writing and management, project and customer management, business development sector lead for Joint training and Joint Forces Command (JFCOM), report writing, quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis, training design, development, and evaluation, competency modeling (including cognitive task analysis and job analytic techniques), focus group facilitation, questionnaire and item development and deployment (paper and pencil and web-based surveys), and aviation psychology and human factors research. Project work has included collaborations with both corporate, academic, and government agencies.

Nathan Bailey has a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Old Dominion University and a B.A. in Psychology from Ohio University. Nathan is also certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Nathan Bailey reports to Erin Pitera, President & CEO. They are on a team with Jessica Waymouth - Engagement Manager, Lauren Wright - Senior Advisor, and Perry Morton - Engagement Manager.
