Jake Hartley

Director - Business Development at Fnality International

Jake Hartley has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jake began their career as a Trainee Legal Clerk at Bakewells in 2008. In 2011, they volunteered as a Tutor at YELP Students. Jake then joined Aleron Partners as a Policy Analyst in 2013, and Teach First as a Teacher of English & Leadership Development Programme Graduate in 2014.

Jake pursued higher education at the University of Oxford where they graduated with a BA in Jurisprudence (Law) in 2014. During their time at Oxford, they also served as a Student Ambassador and held a leadership role as Welfare Representative in the Executive Committee of St. Catherine's College JCR.

In 2017, Jake joined PwC as a Consultant and later became the UK Blockchain Driver, responsible for the firm-wide approach to blockchain technology. Jake worked closely with clients from various sectors and gained wide experience across industries.

In 2019, Jake joined Fnality International as an Associate Director of Business Development. Jake worked on creating a peer-to-peer wholesale settlement ecosystem using DLT technology to improve efficiency and lower risk in digital financial markets. Jake was later promoted to Director of Business Development in August 2020.

Jake Hartley attended the University of Oxford from 2011 to 2014, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law (Jurisprudence). Jake then attended the University of Nottingham from 2014 to 2015, obtaining a PGCE in English Language and Literature. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2011, they attended St. Benedict School in Derby.
