Nelago Makemba

Nelago Makemba is a legal practitioner and the Group Company Secretary at FNB Namibia, where they focus on corporate governance, risk, and compliance. Previously, Nelago served as the Acting Chief Risk Officer at Old Mutual Ghana and held various roles including Risk & Compliance Specialist and Corporate Governance Manager at Old Mutual. They began their career as a Legal Practitioner at Van der Merwe-Greeff Incorporated, specializing in civil litigation and estate administration. Nelago earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Port Elizabeth and has furthered their education with management and compliance qualifications.
