Sascha Junak

Sascha Junak is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data and analytics within the banking and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at FNB South Africa since October 2015, Sascha leads customer-level credit strategies and risk management initiatives, including the development of risk measurement models and the implementation of high-risk cut strategies. Prior to FNB, Sascha held various roles at Absa Group, focusing on pricing, profitability, and risk management in vehicle and asset finance, and has also gained experience at PruProtect and Momentum in business intelligence and actuarial calculations. Sascha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Pretoria.
