Thabiso Tshabalala

Thabiso Tshabalala is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and product development within the financial sector. Currently serving as Head of Product for Credit Cards and Head of Risk at Card and Card Platform at FNB South Africa since July 2021, Thabiso previously held the role of Head of Retail Banking Portfolio in Financial Crime Risk Management at FirstRand Group from December 2017 to October 2023. Prior experience includes working on projects in Group Financial Crime Risk Management at First National Bank and serving as a Senior Associate in Process Innovation at IQ Business. Thabiso began legal training as a Candidate Attorney at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, focusing on intellectual property law.
