Lora Boehne Kalka has extensive experience in the banking industry, holding various roles in different companies over the years. Lora Boehne began their career as a Teller at Harris Bank in 1998 before moving to American Chartered Bank as a Commercial Banking Specialist in 2004. Lora Boehne then joined Village Bank & Trust as an Assistant Controller in 2000 and stayed with the company until 2013. During this time, they served as a Past Chair and Member of the Arlington Heights Young Professionals from 2006 to 2012. Lora then joined FNBC Bank & Trust in 2013, first as a Vice President & Controller and later as a Senior Vice President & Controller. In 2020, they became a Board Member-Future Leaders Alliance at the Illinois Bankers Association and also joined the American Bankers Association's Emerging Leaders Council. Additionally, they have been an Official-Gymnastics at IHSA since 2008. Lora's work experience demonstrates their expertise and involvement in the banking industry.
Lora Boehne Kalka attended Valparaiso University from 2000 to 2003, where they studied Finance. Lora Boehne later enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2016, specializing in the Financial Managers Program. In addition to their formal education, Lora also earned a Business Academy Certificate of Leadership from the Illinois Bankers Association in May 2023.
