Gavin Barnett

Gavin Barnett has extensive experience in the technology and capital markets industry. Gavin is currently serving as the Head of Technology (Capital Markets) at FNZ Group, where they oversee the development and support of advanced post-trade transaction processing systems. Prior to this, Gavin worked at GBST for over 20 years in various roles, including Executive Manager and Principal Architect. In these positions, they managed software development, solutions architecture, and project customization for the company's Capital Markets division. Gavin also has experience in network engineering at Telstra and software development at QEC. Overall, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in delivering post-trade solutions and managing teams on a global basis.

Gavin Barnett obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Electronic Engineering from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between the years 1990 and 1994. Gavin then pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Technology Management from Deakin University, graduating in 2002.
