Swen Künzel

Swen Künzel has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Swen is currently working as a Principal Engineer at FNZ Group since April 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at FNZ (formerly Advicefront) from January 2021 to April 2023, including Lead DevOps and Systems Architecture Engineer and Software Developer. Before joining FNZ, Swen worked as a Software Developer at Loka, Inc. from June 2020 to December 2020. Swen also has experience as a Software Engineer at Secret City Trails from August 2018 to June 2020. Swen's career began as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico, where they worked from May 2017 to August 2018.

Swen Künzel obtained their Bachelor of Science in Physics from Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2007 to 2009. Swen then pursued a Master of Science in Physics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2009 to 2010. Their education continued with a PhD in Physics from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2011 to 2017. In 2020, Swen Künzel obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
