Irena Novotny

Irena Novotny is an experienced professional in management and project leadership with a strong background in social work, labor market initiatives, and empowerment programs. Currently serving as A-kasseleder at FOA since August 2019, Irena previously held the position of Afdelingsleder at Jobcenter Aarhus from November 2017 to February 2019 and was a Project Manager at DIGNITY - Danish Institute Against Torture from October 2016 to October 2017. Earlier roles include Development Manager at BOMI, where the focus was on social work and rehabilitation, and Eu-Project Manager at EVU, specializing in transnational EU project management. Irena also worked as a Consultant and Project Manager at LO and Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, contributing to various EU projects. Irena holds a Kandidat degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
