Steve Wernicke began their career in 1975 as a Sales Rep for Olin Corporation. In 1978, they became President of Foamtek, Inc., where they owned and managed a urethane foam systems house and developed and manufactured spray, froth, and pour rigid urethane foam systems. Steve also obtained four patents regarding urethane foam dispensing equipment, including a process patent on flushing with hot water in lieu of methylene chloride or other toxic chemicals. In 1992, they became VP Operations for IPI International. Finally, in 2006, they became an Account Manager for Foam Supplies, Inc., a global enterprise with multiple U.S. locations.
Steve Wernicke attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1968 to 1972 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chemistry. Prior to that, they attended Elkhart High School.
