Sara Akbar Ghanadian

Sara Akbar Ghanadian has a diverse work experience. Sara started their career as an Innovation Analyst at Barez Industrial Group in 2011 and later became an Innovation and Knowledge Management Specialist at the same company. In 2016, they joined Ohio University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they worked on various projects related to sampling methods, data validation, and supply chain network design evaluation. In 2020, they joined Inspire Brands as a Data Scientist and then moved on to become a Lead Data Scientist at Focus Brands LLC in 2022.

Sara Akbar Ghanadian is a PhD candidate in Industrial and System Engineering at Ohio University, from 2016 to 2019. Sara holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Technology and Innovation Management from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, obtained from 2009 to 2011. Sara also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from K.N Toosi University of Technology, earned between 2004 and 2008.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sara has obtained several certifications. These include "Optimizing Apache Spark on Databricks," "Scalable Deep Learning with TensorFlow and Apache Spark," and "Scalable Machine Learning with Apache Spark" from Databricks in 2021. Furthermore, they have pursued certifications such as "Big Data Modeling and Management Systems," "Big Data Integration and Processing," and "Introduction to Big Data" from the University of California San Diego in 2020. Sara has also obtained certifications in "Data Analysis with Python" and "Python for Data Science and AI" from IBM in 2019. Sara has additional certifications in technology management from the Iranian Association for Management of Technology (IRAMOT) in 2012, and SCProFundamentalsPrinciples certification from CSCMPI in 2017.
