Michael Ekenstam, P.E. is a skilled Project Engineer at FOCUS Engineering & Surveying since June 2022, focusing on structural engineering calculations for residential buildings, addressing gravity, wind, and seismic loads. Michael's extensive experience includes ownership of MAEK Structural and Screen Craft LLC, as well as roles at WesTech Engineering as a Structural Engineer and Project Manager, and at McNeil Engineering as an E.I.T., providing structural services for custom homes and commercial projects. Earlier internships at the City of North Salt Lake and Stanley Consultants, coupled with a research assistantship at the University of Utah, contributed to Michael's foundational expertise. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah.
