Niya Butler

Niya Butler is an accomplished administrative assistant in digital marketing at Focus Features since March 2025, and a member of the Group Effort Initiative since October 2020. Previously, Niya served as an Early Careers Administrative Page at NBCUniversal from September 2023 to February 2025, where responsibilities included event planning and utilization of Canva, as well as roles as a West Coast Page and a Scripted Communications Page focusing on travel management and press relations. A brief tenure as a production assistant for The 2024 TCM Film Festival was held in April 2024. Niya also produced the Not Alone short film series between August 2022 and February 2023, demonstrating skills in film direction and screenwriting. Niya holds a Bachelor's degree in Screen Arts - Production from Louisiana State University and is currently pursuing Production Assistant Training through GEI + MBS Illumination Training.
