Anil Abraham

Anil assists Focus and its partner firms with legal and regulatory matters, including new business and strategic initiatives.

Anil has over 12 years of experience as a senior attorney at the Securities and Exchange Commission, including serving as a direct counsel to two SEC chairmen, to two additional SEC commissioners, and in the Enforcement and Investment Management Divisions. Anil also served as counsel to an acting chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and spent a year as a financial advisor with Raymond James & Associates. He began his career with the law firm of Sidley & Austin and as a law clerk to Judge Jerry E. Smith on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Anil earned his J.D. from Yale Law School and his B.A. summa cum laude from Dartmouth College.
