Scott Anderson

Scott is responsible for business development and acquisition activities, with an emphasis on executing direct transactions on behalf of Focus, as well as merger transactions on behalf of the partner firms. He also works closely with several Focus partner firms on strategic initiatives to accelerate their growth.

Prior to Focus, Scott was an Associate at William Blair’s Investment Banking Group, where he advised private equity firms and technology companies on M&A. Previously, Scott worked in corporate finance at Ameriprise Financial supporting their Asset Management division and Columbia Management mutual fund products. He started his career as a credit analyst at Bridgewater Bank, an entrepreneurial-focused commercial bank based in Minnesota.

Scott received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
