Anna Lee

Anna Lee has considerable experience of the local/community development sector with a particular focus on the development of anti-poverty/social inclusion, including economic and employment strategies. She has been centrally involved in the design and implementation of integrated actions at local and regional level and was CEO of South Dublin County (formerly Tallaght / Dodder Valley) Partnership from 1991 until 2014.

Anna has contributed to policy development at national, regional and county level. She chaired the Combat Poverty Agency from 1995 to 2001 and Volunteer Ireland from 2014 to 2019. Anna currently chairs ActionAid Ireland and is a Board member of the Foundation for Investing in Communities, and the St Stephen’s Green Trust.
