Wade Livingston has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Wade is currently employed at Focus Lab as a Brand Writer since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Writer from January 2015 until their current position. Wade also served as an Executive Writer at Savannah College of Art and Design from February 2019 to October 2021. Wade worked as a Reporter at Hilton Head Island Packet/Beaufort Gazette from March 2016 to February 2019. Wade started their writing career as a Sports Writer/Sports Production Assistant at Columbia Missourian from August 2013 to December 2015. Wade also gained experience as a Staff Writer (Intern) at Charleston Gazette in the summer of 2015. In 2014, they worked as a Writer and Editorial Assistant at Missouri Life Magazine. Prior to their writing career, Wade held academic positions at Clemson University, serving as an Assistant Professor of Higher Education Administration from August 2010 to May 2013, and as an Associate Director of Community and Ethical Standards from August 2008 to July 2010.
Wade Livingston has a strong educational background with degrees in various fields. Wade earned their Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science from Western Carolina University in 2004. Following this, they went on to pursue a Master's Degree in College Student Personnel from Western Carolina University, which they completed in 2006. In 2009, Wade completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership - Higher Education from Clemson University. Lastly, they obtained another Master's Degree, this time in Journalism, from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2015.
