Tim Cowhey

Tim Cowhey, CFP®, currently serves as the Director of Advisory Team Leadership at Focus Partners Wealth since June 2024, an organization dedicated to wealth, asset, and business management. Previously, Tim held the same title at Buckingham Strategic Wealth from March 2016 until its merger with The Colony Group and subsequent rebranding in January 2025. Tim's career includes roles such as Advisory Team Leader and Onboarding & Integration Specialist at Buckingham, as well as former President and Co-Founder of Apex Motorsport, where supercar driving experiences were offered. Early in the career, Tim worked as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and as a Financial Counselor at The Office for Financial Success. Tim began in finance at Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative Intern. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning/Security Analysis from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
