Abbi Barnett has had a diverse work experience in various industries. Abbi started their career at Johnny's Pizza as a Server from May 2014 to April 2019. In 2019, they joined Regus as a Community Associate and later became a Community Manager, working there until October 2021. Abbi then transitioned to Focus People Staffing, where they held multiple roles, including Human Resources Coordinator, Recruiter, Recruiting Operations Specialist, and their current position as Director of Recruitment and Engagement, starting in December 2022.
Abbi Barnett earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of West Georgia from 2014 to 2018.

Focus People began as the brainchild of Amy Shockley in 1994. She grew up in the staffing business and worked in her father’s staffing firm, bringing her years of expertise and experience into Focus. Alongside her husband, Amy still runs the company to this day, with their leadership setting the vision and direction of our growth. Our staff members are experts with deep industry experience.
