Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Focus School Software

Angela Adams has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Angela began their career as a Technical Support Specialist at Visitalk in 1999 and was recognized for their outstanding troubleshooting skills and customer service. Angela then worked as a Software Quality Assurance Assistant Manager at Smart Force, where they wrote and executed test cases, managed bug testing, and edited dialogue and text for an educational app. Angela gained experience in game design as a Game Design Intern at Vigil Games, where they tested for bugs and design issues in an MMORPG and also worked on character design and quest creation. Angela then transitioned to full stack development roles, working as a Full Stack Developer at the University of Central Florida, where they utilized PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, WordPress, MySQL, MongoDB, and Git. Angela is currently at Focus School Software, starting as a Full Stack Software Engineer and eventually becoming a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. In this role, they have been responsible for designing and coding the front and back end of new software modules, troubleshooting and fixing bugs in automated testing, and utilizing various technologies such as PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Handlebars, Semantic UI, Postgres, SQL Server, SVN, Git, Jira, Zendesk, Figma, Mocha JS, Chai, and REST API.

Angela Adams completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended the University of Central Florida from 2016 to 2017 for a Coding Boot Camp, where they focused on Full Stack Development. In 1994 to 1997, Angela pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology at Arizona State University. Before that, in 1993 to 1994, they studied Life Sciences at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Angela has also obtained several certifications, including Open Water SCUBA Diver from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) in June 2016, Wilderness First Aid - Standard (WFA) from ECSI in June 2013, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) from FEMA in March 2013, and Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) from ASCP in 2009.
