Bill Richardson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bill has held various roles in different organizations.

Bill started their career in 1991 as an Interim CIO at Ysleta ISD, where they led their Software Group. After working there for ten years, they moved on to become the Chief Information Officer at Fort Worth ISD, where they played a crucial role in rebuilding the IT shop.
