Bill Richardson

Bill Richardson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bill has held various roles in different organizations.

Bill started their career in 1991 as an Interim CIO at Ysleta ISD, where they led their Software Group. After working there for ten years, they moved on to become the Chief Information Officer at Fort Worth ISD, where they played a crucial role in rebuilding the IT shop.

In 2007, Richardson joined Dallas ISD as the Executive Director of Technology. Bill was part of a significant turnaround effort and led teams that achieved high levels of success.

From 2010 to 2013, Richardson worked at IBM as a Software Account Manager. Bill represented the entire IBM software line and focused on serving Texas K-12 and higher education accounts.

After that, they joined Hayes Software Systems as a Sales Consultant in 2013, where they assisted schools in operating more efficiently and saving money through software solutions and services.

From 2014 to 2017, Richardson worked as an Instructor/Teacher at ITT technical institute and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Bill brought their technical background and real-world experience to teach courses such as Linux System Administration, Client Server Technologies, and Information Technology Security.

Currently, Richardson serves as an Account Executive at Focus School Software since 2017. Bill'smain role is to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction for school systems, combining the latest technology infrastructure with a strong commitment to customer service.
