Scott Diener

Scott Diener is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Senior Director of Strategic Finance at NiSource since 2010. Hand-selected by the CFO, Scott has been instrumental in enhancing financial and performance management capabilities across the enterprise, significantly contributing to executive reorganization efforts. Prior to this, Scott held multiple leadership roles within NiSource, including VP of Supply Chain, where a comprehensive supply chain transformation roadmap was developed, and Director of Corporate Development & Reporting, managing critical M&A transactions. Previously at KPMG, Scott specialized in financial due diligence for various industries and played a key role in ensuring audit compliance. Scott holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Accounting from Miami University, as well as completing the High Potentials Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
