Melissa Cunningham

Melissa began her career in long term care in 1991 as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) managing a unit and serving as an Assistant Director of Nurses. She continued to work in different positions in management at several different skilled nursing communities.

In 2009, Melissa earned her RN degree from Excelsior College in Albany, New York and shortly thereafter became a Director of Hospice. In 2010 she returned to the long term care setting and eventually served as Director of Nurses at Focused Care at Linden.

Melissa plans to earn an Infection Prevention Board Certification by fall of 2021. She believes that every day that you do not learn something new, is a wasted day.
