Roel Proesmans

Roel Proesmans serves as President of STEPP vzw, the professional association for producers, designers, and technicians in the arts and event sector, and holds several key roles including Member of the Board and President of the Workgroup Audio within the same organization. As the Owner and Project & Production Manager at Sound Decisions, Roel manages tours and productions for various events. Additionally, Roel is involved with RelyOn Nutec Belgium as Special Projects Manager and Senior Safety Instructor. Other roles include Technical Consultant/Director at Music Hall, and a member of the Board for Stichting Cross Current, which organizes International Film Festivals. Roel also maintains ownership of Villa Jasmina, a bed & breakfast, and has held various significant positions in project management and technical consulting across multiple industries. Roel has pursued extensive education in management and safety, acquiring numerous certifications in related fields.
