Ty Thomson

Ty Thomson has an extensive career in computational biology, starting as a Graduate Student at MIT from 2002 to 2008. Ty then worked at Epitome Biosystems as a Scientist for a few months in 2008 before moving to Plectix BioSystems as a Scientist from 2008 to 2010. Ty then joined Selventa, where they held positions as Scientist II, Senior Computational Biologist, and Research Director in computational biology from 2010 to 2016. Ty later transitioned to FogPharma, where they served as Associate Director and then Senior Principal Scientist in Computational Biology starting in 2016.

Ty Thomson completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto from 1998 to 2002. Subsequently, Ty pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2008.
