Alok K.

Alok K. has a diverse work experience in the field of design. In 2017, they began their career as a Graphic Design Intern at MrStudyBuddy, where they contributed to the creation of an interactive language learning app. They then joined DoorTask in 2018 as a User Interface Designer, where they helped initiate the design process, built the company's website, and assisted with other brand design materials.

After their contract role at DoorTask, Alok K. worked as a User Interface Designer at Sentient Studio. In this role, they worked on various client projects, developing UI and UX for apps and websites. They utilized tools like Wordpress, Webflow, HTML, CSS, React, and Vanilla JS for design and development.

In 2021, Alok K. joined Banyan Cloud as a User Experience Designer and played a key role as the Founding Designer. They built a suite of enterprise-facing SAAS products in Cloud Security, consisting of multiple services. Their responsibilities included product research, ideation, wireframing, creating mockups, prototyping, and testing.

Currently, Alok K. is working at Fold Health as a Product Designer. Since 2023, they have been contributing to the design of products in the healthcare industry.

Throughout their work experience, Alok K. has demonstrated skills in product design, user experience design, user interface design, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. They have worked on various projects, collaborating with teams to determine features and user flows.

Alok K. completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Anna University from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued their Intermediate degree in Pure Science with CS from The Pentecostal Assembly School from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Alok K. obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the "Graphic Design Careers: First Steps" certification from Lynda.com. More recently, in 2021, Alok K. obtained the following certifications: "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner" from IBM, "Learn Search Engine Optimization" from Udemy, and "WordPress SEO Tips and Content Creation Guide" also from Udemy.
