Ryan Stewart has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ryan began their career at Morgan Stanley in 2004 as a Financial Advisor Assistant. After that, they worked as a Photojournalist & Video Editor at San Diego State University from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Super D as an International Sales Representative, where they successfully managed the company's second-largest account and increased department revenue. From 2007 to 2010, Ryan served as the International Sales & Market Manager at Heck Estates, where they developed existing business and ventured into new export markets. Ryan then joined Delicato Family Vineyards in 2010, starting as a Regional Sales Manager and eventually becoming an Area Sales Director for the Asia Pacific region. Most recently, Ryan held leadership positions at Foley Family Wines, first as the Director of International Sales and currently as the Vice President of International Sales, responsible for growing shipment volume, revenue, and establishing direct-to-retail relationships in various markets.
Ryan Stewart's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Business - Japanese & Asia from San Diego State University. Ryan also received a WSET Level 3 Advanced Award in Wines and Spirits from the Asia Wine Service & Education Centre (AWSEC). In addition, Ryan studied International Business at Waseda University. Ryan holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in General Education from Santa Rosa Junior College.
Ryan has obtained several certifications. Ryan completed the ATLAS Leadership Certificate Program from Delicato Family Vineyards in November 2018. Ryan also became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in December 2015. Furthermore, Ryan obtained a Level 2 Fluency Certification in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test in 2004.
