Mi Cai

Mi Cai is a Patent Attorney at Foley Hoag LLP since April 2017, focusing on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. patents. Previously, Mi Cai served as a Senior Scientist at Pfizer from March 2014 to March 2017, where development of novel therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases was a primary responsibility. Prior to Pfizer, Mi Cai was a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from November 2012 to February 2014, contributing to the development of genome editing technologies, including ZFN, TALEN, and CRISPR. Mi Cai holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston University School of Law (2019-2022), a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from Washington University in St. Louis (2006-2012), and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Peking University (2002-2006).
