Catherine Huang

Catherine Huang has a diverse range of work experience. Catherine is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Folio, a talent accelerator and job marketplace that trains students to become skilled freelancers and earn money while still in school. Catherine is also a Co-Founder and Advisor at Truefish, a company that delivers high-quality seafood at accessible prices to home consumers and Bay Area chefs.

Prior to these ventures, Catherine served as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Antler, an international startup generator and early-stage venture capital firm. Catherine gained experience in the education sector as the VP of Product at Philanthropy University, where they guided the team through significant transitions and helped secure series B funding. Catherine also held the position of Head of Marketplace at Wonder, an on-demand research service.

Catherine's previous roles include Insight Research Lead for South Asia at Endeavor, where they led research efforts funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and a David Bonderman Fellow at the University of Michigan, where they focused on female social impact entrepreneurs. Catherine also worked as an Associate Product Marketing Manager at Google, specifically on the Google Glass project.

Early in their career, Catherine was a True Ventures TEC Fellow and held positions at the University of Michigan's Center for Entrepreneurship and Stanford Lipsey Student Publications Business Staff.
