Gerry Worthy

Gerry Worthy is a seasoned professional in network engineering and project management, currently serving as a Network Engineering Specialist at BT since March 2025. With extensive leadership roles, including Chairman of both the Ashford Beekeeping Association and Finance and Planning at Folkestone & Hythe District Council, alongside overseeing Asian Hornet coordination for the British Beekeepers Association, Gerry demonstrates a strong commitment to community engagement. Additionally, Gerry possesses a wealth of experience as an RF Solutions Consultant with Triopt Group and previously as an RF Solutions Expert at NEC Europe, contributing to significant projects like the “OTIC 5G Centre of Excellence” lab. Educational achievements include an MBA in Business Administration and Management from The Open University Business School and a Master's in Communication Systems Engineering from the University of Portsmouth. Gerry actively participates in volunteer work with Remap, providing engineering solutions for the disabled, and serves as a mentor for the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
