Laura Warden

Laura Warden is the Head of People & Culture at Folklore Ventures. Laura has over eight years of experience in Human Resources and Recruitment. Laura started their career as a Corporate Receptionist and then transitioned into Education Coordination. In 2013, Laura began their role as a Recruitment Consultant with Hays Recruiting Experts in Human Resources. Laura quickly rose through the ranks and became a Team Manager in 2016 and then a Manager in 2017. In 2019, Laura left Hays to join Google as a Staffing Services Associate Lead for APAC. Laura has now returned to Folklore Ventures as the Head of People & Culture.

Laura Warden has a BA (Hon) in Art Theirtory from The University of Manchester and also studied Art, Theirtory, Geography and Ethics at Uppingham School. Laura also attended Thornton College.

They work with Bree Kirkham - COO, Britt Boxall - Investment Analyst, and Andrew Larsen - Partner. Their manager is Alister Coleman, Founder & Managing Partner.
