Felipe Amaya

Felipe Amaya is a skilled FX Supervisor at FOLKS since November 2024 and an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University. With extensive experience as an FX Artist at FuseFX from January 2022 to November 2024 and a background as a Visual Effects Artist in freelance work from August 2017 to January 2022, Felipe also served as a Houdini Artist at The-Artery for a brief period in early 2021. Prior roles include being a Peer Tutor at Savannah College of Art and Design and a Graphic Design Teacher at New York Film Academy. Felipe's career in art direction began as Art Director at Fondo Nacional del Ahorro and included a position as Jr. Art Director at DDB Colombia. Felipe holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Effects from Savannah College of Art and Design and a degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
