Jacob Karmehag

Jacob Karmehag is an experienced manager in the IT sector, currently serving as Manager of Infrastructure & Integrations, IT P&C at Folksam since August 2019. Jacob has held various roles at Folksam, including Head of Department for DigiCX & Data and Release Train Engineer, showcasing expertise in agile methodologies as a Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance. Prior to Folksam, Jacob worked at Sigma IT Consulting as an IAM Developer and Scrum Master and completed a master’s thesis at SKF Group focused on the impact of emerging technologies on purchasing processes. Jacob's foundational experience includes roles at If P&C Insurance and Trygg-Hansa as a Claims Adjuster, along with entry-level telemarketing positions. Jacob holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Supply Chain Management from Chalmers University of Technology and an exchange degree from Instituto Superior Técnico.
