Ellen Siminoff

Ellen Siminoff currently serves as the Executive Chair and Director of the Board of Directors at BigCommerce since March 2020. Additionally, Siminoff is a Director on the Boards of Follett, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., and Verifone, with roles beginning in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Siminoff previously held positions at Shmoop as CEO and on the Board of Directors from 2007 until 2022, and served on the Boards of Zynga, Discovery Education, Solarwinds, Mozilla Corporation, and Journal Broadcast Group over various periods. Educationally, Siminoff holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an AB in Economics from Princeton University, and has pursued graduate studies in programming and software engineering at Harvard University.
