Mira Sys

Mira Sys is an accomplished journalist and author with extensive experience in investigative journalism and editorial roles. Currently serving as a bestuurslid at VVOJ since June 2022, Mira Sys has also worked as an onderzoeksjournalist for Follow the Money since April 2018 and has held several freelance positions in the field. Between February 2020 and the present, Mira Sys contributes as a writer for Meulenhoff Boekerij. Previous experience includes a role as a freelance onderzoeksjournalist for De Onderzoeksredactie, de Volkskrant, and De Correspondent, as well as an internship at NRC Media in 2017. Mira Sys began a career as hoofdredacteur at Absint from December 2015 to December 2016. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in Journalistiek en media and a cum laude bachelor's degree in Nederlandse Taal en communicatie, both from the University of Amsterdam.
