Kevin Smith has extensive experience in the education and mental health fields, currently serving as a Behavior Specialist for the Folsom Cordova Unified School District since August 2008. In this role, Kevin collects and analyzes data to develop individualized instructional programs and behavior supports, implements behavior intervention plans, and trains educators on effective behavioral practices. Additionally, Kevin coordinates safety services as a Project Director, overseeing various operational aspects of a safety grant for a Community Day School. Prior experience includes serving as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at the San Juan Unified School District, where Kevin provided mental health therapy to children and families under supervision. Kevin holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Biology from the University of California, Davis.
