Jane Howard

Jane Howard is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in therapy and psychology. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa since November 2017 and as a Psychologist/Therapist for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe since January 2014, Jane specializes in providing outpatient therapy, conducting diagnostic assessments, and engaging in community education on mental health. In addition, Jane has held the position of Associate Editor at the Cook County News-Herald since December 2007, overseeing editorial quality and reporting on relevant public issues. As a business owner and psychologist, Jane has also contributed to various agencies and initiatives in Grand Marais, including private practice and community education programs. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University and advanced degrees in Guidance and Counseling, Jane combines a strong educational background with diverse professional experiences to impact mental health and community well-being effectively.
