Angelika Albrecht is an experienced professional in technical design and product development, currently working at FOND OF GmbH since March 2022, focusing on the brands Affenzahn, Ergobag, and Satch. Concurrently, Angelika is involved with bags and more GmbH since October 2016, specializing in the design and development of textile transport solutions with an emphasis on outdoor and lifestyle products. Previously, Angelika has held positions at companies such as Oberalp Group Spa, INDIGO | Schwabe & Baer Entwicklungs GmbH, and MAMMUT Sports Group AG, gaining extensive expertise in backpack design and product development. Angelika obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Product Design from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences and trained as a carpenter at Schulen für Holz und Gestaltung Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

FOND OF considers itself as a platform for progression, development of potential and personal growth. In 2010 the founders started the mission to revolutionize the market for schoolbags with their first brand ergobag. Since then a total of seven brands have been developed, Affenzahn, ergobag, satch, AEVOR, pinqponq and SALZEN which are backpack brands for kids, lifestyle and business. The latest brand is the fashion label, FUNKTION SCHNITT,. All brands are characterised by uniqueness in design, product functionality, responsibility in production and - above all - “playful performance” among the team.
