Shamsi M has worked in the IT industry since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at AIG, where they were involved in developing Class diagrams, Sequence Diagrams using UML, Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Bug Fixing, and importing data using Sqoop to load data from MySQL and Oracle to HDFS. In 2016, they worked as a Data Analyst at CarMax, where they were involved in building and deploying cloud-based data pipelines and BI applications using AWS and GCP services, implementing data ingestion strategies and scalable pipelines, data warehouse, and data mart structures in the Snowflake data platform, and developing T-SQL scripts and shell scripts to move data from source systems to staging and from staging to Data warehouse in batch processing mode and understanding of Google cloud platforms by AWS to retrieve the data. In 2018, they worked as a Data Engineer at Nielsen, where they were involved in gathering requirements for the reports, dashboards, and OLAP cube, which have to be built on DWH using SSRS/SSAS, optimization at all levels either in SSIS packages, SQL queries, SSRS report/dashboards, and SSAS cubes, and MVC frameworks like Django, Angular. Currently, they are working as a Sr Data Engineer at Fond, where they are responsible for designing, architecting and implementing secure batch and real-time applications using Snowflake, Python, Airflow, DBT, Kubernetes, updating and maintaining a DevOps infrastructure utilizing Gitlab CI/CD and integrate unit and feature tests, and developing Restful Microservices using Flask and Django and deploying on AWS servers using EBS and EC2.

Shamsi M completed their Bachelor's degree in 2014 at JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad.
