Silvia Malesardi

Silvia Malesardi's work experience includes roles at various organizations. Silvia is currently serving as the Chief Communication and External Relations Officer at Fondazione Bruno Kessler - FBK since January 2022. Prior to this position, they worked for over 8 years as the Head of Digital Communication & Big Events Unit at the same organization. Silvia'sresponsibilities included developing an integrated communication strategy, implementing a communication plan to enhance brand awareness, managing the annual communication budget, and planning editorial and events calendars.

Silvia Malesardi has also worked as an Expert Evaluator at the European Commission from 2018 to 2021. Additionally, they served as a Program Committee Member at MuseWeb, a Museum and the Web conference, from November 2017 to April 2018. Silvia was a Contract Professor at the MEC - Master "Cultural Events Arts & Exhibitions" at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore from May 2007 to May 2013.

Earlier in their career, they worked as an Events, Communication & Special Projects Assistant at Trentino Marketing from June 2007 to December 2008. Silvia also had an internship role at ENIT - Ente Nazionale italiano del Turismo's Press Office & Events Department in 2007, where they collaborated in organizing international events and exhibitions. Before that, they had internships at Trentino Marketing in 2005 and Trentino - Daily Newspaper as a journalist intern from 2003 to 2005.

Silvia Malesardi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Università degli Studi di Padova in 2004. Silvia then pursued a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies/Event Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore from 2004 to 2006. In 2005, they participated in the European Exchange Program "Erasmus" at the University of Vienna, focusing on Corporate Communication, Journalism & Event Management. Silvia also completed Professional Training courses in Management at Trentino School of Management (TSM) from 2009 to 2013. Silvia Malesardi completed their secondary education at Liceo classico Prati, obtaining a Maturità classica in Humanities/Humanistic Studies in 2001. Silvia has an additional certification as a Socia professionista from FERPI - Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana, obtained in 2022.
