Marco Rizzo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles. Marco started their career as a Marketing and Fundraising Officer at ActionAid, where they worked on web marketing and promotional activities. Marco then moved on to become a Senior Digital Campaigner and Web Marketing Officer at the same organization, taking on additional responsibilities. Later, they joined illycaffè as an intern supporting the Senior Marketing Product Manager. Marco also worked as a Collaborator of the Organizing Secretariat at Bluemeetings S.r.l. and as a Member of the General Affairs Commission at CONI. Currently, they are working at Fondazione Umberto Veronesi ETS as a Digital Fundraising Officer and is set to become the Head of Digital Fundraising in 2023. Throughout their career, Marco has gained expertise in digital fundraising, online acquisition, campaign monitoring, media planning, and web marketing.
Marco Rizzo's education history includes a University Master degree in "Press office and media relations" from Business school Il sole 24 ore, which they completed in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations from Università degli Studi di Udine in 2009. In 2006 to 2007, they attended Copenhagen Business School, and in 2007, they also studied at New College Nottingham. Marco's earlier education includes earning a Maturità Classica degree from Liceo Classico Raffaello Foresi, Portoferraio (Livorno) in 2001.
