Ayden Carlo Dijkstra

Ayden Carlo Dijkstra is a seasoned freelance writer with extensive experience in creating theater and film scripts, marketing materials, web content, and journalistic articles since September 2013. As the assistant artistic director at Raymi Sambo Maakt and an advisor at Fonds Podiumkunsten, Ayden Carlo provides crucial support in artistic and cultural endeavors. Previous roles include advising on the culture budget for the Municipality of Utrecht and serving on multiple advisory committees related to cultural subsidies, focusing on promoting emerging artists and initiatives. Ayden Carlo has also contributed to the Dutch Film Festival as an introducer and discussion leader, worked as a communications officer for the Association of Public Libraries, and acted as a reviewer for Theatermaker / Theaterkrant.nl. Ayden Carlo holds a Bachelor of Theatre with Honours in Writing for Performance from HKU and a Master of Education in Arts from the Amsterdam University of the Arts.
