Hanan de Sain

Hanan de Sain is a Teacher of Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University since September 2024 and serves as an Advisor at Fonds Podiumkunsten since January 2021. Hanan has held various roles at Le Guess Who? from June 2018 to September 2024, including Coordinator and Junior Programmer for Satellite Events. Within Utrecht University, Hanan was involved in the Educational Committee and Programme Advisory Committees for Cultural Anthropology programs while also working as a Student Assistant for the course "The Anthropology of Death." Previous experiences include programming at Het Utrechts Archief, curating music at We Are Public, and event programming at RAUM and TivoliVredenburg. Hanan's educational background features a Research Master in Cultural Anthropology: Sociocultural Transformation, a Pre-Master in Sustainable Citizenship, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Heritage, all earned at Utrecht University and Reinwardt Academie.
