Willemijn Barelds

Willemijn Barelds is a seasoned professional in the field of dramaturgy and theater education, currently serving as voorzitter bestuur at Collectief Blauwdruk since March 2022, and as a dramaturg at Het Nationale Theater since August 2017. With extensive experience as an adviseur for Fonds Podiumkunsten and a freelance writer of analyses and advice, Willemijn has also conducted interviews for the Research Interviewer role at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts. Previous positions include dramaturg for various productions with Toneelgroep Amsterdam and Toneelgroep Oostpool, as well as teaching theater studies at the University of Amsterdam. Willemijn holds a master's degree in Dramaturgie from the University of Amsterdam and has completed post-doctoral studies in Dutch teacher education at the University of Groningen, in addition to earning a degree in Dutch language and literature.
